Fuel Filter Water Separator Replacement for Marine Outboard Motor

To replace the element, first, drain the unit by loosening the drain screw. Then, loosen and remove the filter element, followed by loosening and removing the bowl from the filter element. Please note that the bowl is reusable, so do not dispose of it unless it is broken. Next, wipe the O-ring gland clean, coat the bowl's seal O-ring with fresh oil or grease, and place it back into the gland. Tighten the bowl onto the filter element firmly using a tool.

Coat the filter element's seal O-ring with fresh oil or grease and attach the filter element onto the filter head, tightening it securely with a tool. Finally, run the engine and check for any fuel leakage.

The PACKAGE includes 3/8-Inch Barb x 1/4-Inch NPT brass fittings and a roll of PTFE thread tape, as shown in the pictures. Remember to wrap the TEFLON tape around the fittings' threads to prevent any leaks from these plugs.
